Lovelyn Layon

If you think you don’t have any kind of idea on doing a particular review, you better think again because the entertainment business is now forming a new trend of promoting new faces to bring out the best ideas and concepts to the world. Remember Hunger Games?

Everybody knew this was coming to reality in the big screen. People loved the fact that Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, and Liam Hemsworth portrayed the roles of Katniss, Peeta and Gale in the movie. Some people say that the producers have made the right choices because these three young actors did their roles well in the movie. But what does it takes for them to be more efficient on portraying such a huge step of characters from the books to the big screen anyway?

Before you get into the deepest sense of the story, we have to know the best quotable quotes from the book first to become much knowledgeable when it comes to movie lines.

Before they set foot on the brutal land of Capitol, Katniss and Peeta made a promise to one another that they will both survive the challenge no matter how far they could go from District 12. Although it is a huge lump in the throat for the both of them, still they maintained their focus on the game and made it through the rest of the deadly challenge. ““Panic begins to set in. I can’t stay here. Flight is essential.”…”But I can’t let my fear show”. Katniss once used these lines to inspire herself and to never let go.

Peeta, the “screen lover”, knew that the moment he have been waiting for, came to an inevitable thrill. He managed to succumb those horrifying events in the challenge just to let Katniss live. In the end, they both won the game leaving questions and doubts to the game maker from Capitol.

Movies are the major tools on showing that books are worth the read. Sometimes, people just have to deal with those things in order to appreciate the latest trends of art, theater, and drama. Sometimes, none of those concepts are well-appreciated by the many. However, movie critics still believe that gaining the right kind of story and portraying the right kind of role in the movie will create a definite source of entertainment to both filmmakers and audiences. We just have to make the right choice on which to choose first.

There are times that I used to think of the world as the Capitol itself. At the end of the day, it was never that bad at all.
