I Am A Pole (And So Can You!) Maurice Sendak Episode #08091

Ina Tuason

Stephen Colbert is a very funny comedian who never fails to make anyone laugh. Who knew that he could actually write a children’s book that would help inspire these kids to find their place in the world? It’s a deep meaning behind a simple title: I am a Pole (And So Can You!). It’s a story about a pole who wants to find meaning in his life. It’s a great read for kids and hey, even young adults who are just starting out their careers. Not everybody knows what they can do for the rest of their lives, so if you are looking for some inspiration, then this is a great read for you.

An endorser of the book is “Where The Wild Things Are” author,  Maurice Sendak. He is the writer of a very beloved children’s book, so you can definitely take his word when he says that Colbert’s book is worth it. He and Colbert share this love-hate sense of humor and his comment about this book is “The sad thing is, I like it!”. If he thinks it’s worth a read, then you can bet that you will enjoy it as well.
